I will not provide support for Envato themes or plugins when you participate in GB. In order to get support, you need to have it active. Support usually expires every 6 months and needs to be renewed (purchased).
Though they ask for the license you will still be able to update via the Envato Market plugin and API which I will provide. Most of them will still work without a license but you might be restricted from downloading some add-ons or templates. In that case, you can contact me and I will download and send it to you.
Yes, if you wish to continue using you will need to pay a renewal fee. For example, if you paid for Thrive Membership $20, the renewal will be $10 after a year.

I try to be fair and offer everyone the same usage time no matter when they participated, unlike other GB starters. So if the product is 1-year support and updates you will get 1 year no matter when you paid. I understand many will want to take advantage of this and will not pay for the renewal. This can cause GB to become fail. If this becomes a too big problem I will stop with my fair practice.
For now, I just blacklist those people from my GBs and after the license expires I just get a new one, ask support to provide a new one, or reset all license activations. In this way, I can also combat resellers and other leechers. So if you think to take advantage and just continue using…enjoy your additional month or two free while the license is still active.
Offering as a bonus to your list or in form of anything else, as well as reselling or sharing for free or is a big NO. In these cases it can easily end on some forum or another person will share it elsewhere and soon license will get banned which is not in my or your interest.
Also to combat resharing, reselling, and other forms of personal gain I mostly buy a new license when the current expires where possible or use other means that I will not reveal.
It is only for your use and for clients if you wish. But I never recommend using it on clients’ sites from my store. If you want serious work with clients and be professional you will purchase a license by yourself as you can faster help clients and provide support.
Let me explain it in an example. Let’s say you paid for a product on 1.1.2021. and your 1 year of usage expired on 1.1.2022. but you paid for renewal 3 months later. I will then count that renewal from 1.1.2022. and not from the date you renewed (3 months later).
In some cases where I think you continue to use the plugin but refused to pay for renewal and then found out I have changed the license and because of that you paid renewal, I can decide not to accept renewal payment and tell you that you need to pay full price for that product.
Though in most cases I will just ignore it. I don’t have time to play policeman.
Credit Cards, Paypal, and Cryptocurrency are all available for you. A credit Card via Stripe is highly recommended.
